KATHMANDU, Nov 22: A total of 1,669 individuals are tested positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population these cases were identified while conducting RT-PCR test on 8,032 individuals across the country.
The Ministry spokesperson Dr Jageshwar Gautam in a regular press meet at the Ministry on Sunday shared that 957 persons
were found infected with the coronavirus in the Kathmandu valley alone.
With this, the number of total infected reached 220,308 so far in the country.
Similarly, altogether 199,024 infected persons recovered till November 22 in the country.
Likewise, a total of 5,699 infected persons recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours in the country. The Ministry further shared that the active cases of the virus are 19,963 across the country.
According to Gautam, 16 more infected persons died of the virus in the country in the past 24 hours.
