No-confidence motion against Bagmati Chief Minister Poudel

KATHMANDU, Dec 25: Forty-five lawmakers from Bagmati Pradesh have filed a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Dormani Poudel. A motion of no-confidence was filed by 45 lawmakers of the NCP (Dahal-Nepal) group on Friday.

Earlier, three ministers of Bagmati province have resigned. Three ministers of the NCP (Dahal-Nepal) faction have resigned.

Among those resigning are Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Salikaram Jamkattel, Minister for Social Development Yubaraj Dulal and Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment Arun Nepal. They have tendered their resignation at the office of Chief Minister Dormani Poudel.
