COVID-19: 125 people found infected, 91 people recovered

KATHMANDU: The COVID-19 infection have been found in 125 people in the last 24 hours. A press release issued by the Ministry of Health and Population states that 48 women and 77 men were infected during the RT-PCR test of 3,838. The total number of infected people have so far reached 273,070.

According to the Ministry, 91 people have recovered from the infection and returned home. So far, 269,394 have recovered and returned home. The recovery rate in Nepal is 98.7 percent. The ministry said no one had died of the infection in the past 24 hours.

Similarly, 61 of the infected are being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 13 in the ventilator.

There are 991 people in institutional isolation across the country. Kathmandu alone has more than 500 infected people. The districts with zero infections are Bhojpur, Solukhumbu, Mustang, Achham, West Rukum and Mugu.
