Leaflet of Goit group found at Lahan blast site

SIRAHA: A leaflet belonging to the Tarai Janatantrik Mukti Morcha (Goit group) has been found at the site of the bomb blast at the Land Revenue Office in Lahan Municipality of Siraha.

Police suspect that the group may have detonated a cooker bomb as leaflets of the group were found at the site of the blast.

Seven people were injured in the blast on Sunday around 12:40 pm. Among the injured, Dinesh Kumar Bhandari is in critical condition, said DSP Shaligram Sharma of District Police Office, Siraha. He said that the injured were being treated at Saptarishi Hospital in Lahan.

In recent years, Goit group was mostly remained silent. The group was active in attacking, arson in the past. The group’s main leader Jay Krishna Goit is still hiding from the security and local people.
