KP Oli lays foundation stone of ministerial residence at Bhainsepati

Lalitpur, Sept 30 : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has laid the foundation stone of the ministerial residence to be constructed at Bhainsepati, Lalitpur on Monday.

The Oli Cabinet had earlier decided to construct new buildings for federal ministers, contact office and residence for Chief Ministers, and residence for Chairman of Upper House in Bhainsepati.

It will occupy nearly 125 Ropani of land. The new housing will have different facilities, including shopping center, swimming pool, parking.

The existing Pulchow-based ministerial residence is thought to be narrow and insufficient to provide additional amenities.

However, the local people have been urging the government to make an international level park here or leave an open space.
