Campus padlocked demanding probe into corruption charge

Martadi : Nepal Students Union, Bajura chapter has padlocked Bajura Campus based in district headquarters Martadi for an indefinite period demanding resignation of campus Chief Suresh Prasad Pandit.

NSU Bajura Campus Unit Secretary Dhan Bahadur Thapa said they came up with the action to pile pressure on the campus administration to address their seven-point demand including resignation of campus Chief.

NSU has locked up the campus administration charging financial irregularities. NSU has accused the campus administration of committing financial irregularities in the procurement of goods and services.

NSU padlocked the campus to demonstrate their protest on financial fraud a day before the campus organized a formal inauguration of the status of constituent campus of the Sudurpaschim University.
