Three COVID-19 infected die in Rupandehi

Butwal: Three COVID-19 infected persons died in the district today. Of the deceased between the age of 45 and 78, two are from Siddharthanagar and one from Butwal, it has been said.

A 45-year-old infected man of Siddharthanagar municipality-8 died today morning, said Kedarnath Shah, corona focal person at the district health office.

The man, who was in home-isolation after being tested positive for the infection, was receiving a dialysis for kidney problems in Chitwan.

Likewise, a 64-year-old infected woman of Siddharthanagar-7 died at Gautam Buddha Community Heart Hospital at Butwal Sub Metropolitan City, said the hospital.

The deceased, who was admitted to the hospital on August 20, was receiving treatment for blood pressure, diabetes, kidney problems and pneumonia. She was tested positive for the virus on September 1. She was receiving treatment on a ventilator.

Likewise, a 78-year-old infected man of Butwal sub metropolis-8 died at the corona special hospital of Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.

With this, death toll from the infection in the district has hit 14.

Coronavirus infected woman, treated using plasma therapy, dies

Chitwan: A woman infected with COVID-19 has died on Friday.

The 52-year-old from Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-11 who was under treatment at the Covid ICU of Chitwan Medical College passed away at 1.44 pm, Hospital Director Dr Dayaram Lamsal said.

A team of Dr Sheetal Adhikari and Dr Lamsal had started treating the woman using plasma therapy on Thursday night.

She was admitted to the Medical College on August 27 after suffering from respiratory and chest problem.

With this the number of people dead from coronavirus has reached 21 in Chitwan.
