Addressing the second Global Knowledge Conference organized by the NRNA, Foreign Minister Gyawali made it clear that the citizenship bill which under is consideration at parliament and other laws would create further convenience to the NRNs while they have already been conferred on the economic, social and cultural rights.
The conference was extended best wishes by Vice-Chancellor of Kathmandu University Dr Ramkanth Makaju Shrestha, Chairperson of FNCCI Bhawani Rana, NRNA Chairperson Kumar Pant, NRNA Founding Chairperson Dr Upendra Mahato, former Chairpersons Shesh Ghale, Jiba Lamichhane, Devman Hirachan, Bhawan Bhatta and others.
General Secretary of the NRNA Dr Hemraj Sharma informed that more than 300 experts from different universities and research centres of 25 countries would participate in the conference.
The event runs for three days.
