Ram Chandra Sanghai will lead Employers’ Council of FNCCI

KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has formed an employers’ council under the chairmanship of Associate Vice President Ram Chandra Sanghai.

Prabal Jung Pandey, a member of the executive committee of the federation, has been elected as the deputy chairman of the council.

Among the members of the council are Krishnalal Maharjan, a member of the executive committee of the federation from the associate group; Er Vinod Dhakal, Virat Thapa, Rajkumar Golchha of Nepal Jute Industries Association and member from Dabur Nepal have been elected as representatives.

Similarly, Araniko Rajbhandari, member of the executive committee of the federation, Iman Singh Lama of Nepal Readymade Garments Association, Rakesh Surana of industry association Morang, representative of Birgunj chapter, representative of Siddharth Nagar chapter are members of the council from the provincial group. Rajendra Raut, Dil Sundar Shrestha, executive committee member of the federation from Bagmati, Laxmi Prasad Tripathi from Gandaki and Deepak Poudel from Lumbini have been elected in the council.

Vinay Upadhyay, Shajan Shakya, Shobha Gyawali and Vavukaji Karki have been elected as members of the council from other regions and groups. Among the invited members of the council are representatives of Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Er Aang Dorji Lama (A.D.) from Nepal Federation of Construction Entrepreneurs, Ramesh Ghimire of Ncell Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and Rameshwar Shah of Nepal Workers Suppliers Union.

The Council will work to promote good labor relations, establish necessary relations with the International Labor Organization, international regional and foreign employers’ associations, try to solve labor problems and submit suggestions to the Government of Nepal for the solution of such problems.
