KATHMANDU: A total of 322 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded while conducting PCR tests on 4,306 individuals in the country in the past 24 hours.
Kathmandu valley alone recorded163 new cases of virus infection today.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3,861 are active cases of infection in the country. The Ministry further shared that the number of total infected has reached 267,644 in the country till today.
A total of 2,016,785 individuals have been tested for COVID-19 so far.
It is shared that six more infected patients died today taking the total number of deaths to 1,965 caused by the virus infection till January 18.
Meanwhile, 374 infected persons have recovered today. The Ministry further said that 195 infected persons are undergoing treatment with the support of ICU and ventilators in different hospitals in the country.
