Government transferred and posted 16 secretaries overnight

KATHMANDU: The government has transferred and posted 16 secretaries as the possibility of election code of conduct is increasing. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Thursday transferred and posted secretaries working in various ministries, commissions, states and offices.

The government has transferred Secretary Toyam Raya to the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Suresh Adhikari to the Election Commission, Begendra Raj Sharma Poudyal to the Ministry of Land Management Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, and Surya Gautam to the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security.

Similarly, Debendra Karki has been transferred to National Vigilance Center, Arjun Pokharel to Industry, Dinesh Bhattarai to Commerce and Mahendra Guragai to Public Service Commission.

Similarly, Baikuntha Aryal to Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Dev Kumari Guragai to Vice President’s Office, Kedar Neupane to Ministry of Youth and Sports, Tek Narayan Pandey to Public Procurement Monitoring Office, Maniram Gelal to National Reconstruction Authority, Suresh Acharya to Nepal Trust, Ram Prasad Thapaliya to Ministry of Education Science and Technology and Suman Aryal as Chief Secretary of Province No. 1.
