CPN (UML) Chairman Oli ask 27 MPs: “Why not remove you from the post of MP?”

KATHMANDU: The ruling Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist Leninist) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has asked it’s rebellious 27 lawmakers for clarification. These lawmakers of House of Representatives represent from Madhav Kumar Nepal faction.

In a letter sent by him saying that they were active in the form of a new political party. Chairman Oli has asked, “Why not remove you from the post of member of the federal parliament? I instruct you to submit an explanation within three days with the basic reasons.”

The letter warned that further action could be taken at any time if such activities continue.

Chairman Oli was also warning MPs earlier after they didn’t participate in the General Convention Organizing Committee’s meeting. He has repeatedly accused Madhav Kumar Nepal and his group for organizing activities that was hurting party unity.
