Nepali Congress meeting postponed with COVID-19 infection

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Central Committee of the Nepali Congress has been postponed. Congress has postponed the meeting of the Central Committee after the coronavirus infection was confirmed including central member Chinkaji Shrestha.

A Congress leader said that the meeting was postponed due to infection in the PSOs, aides and central office staff of other leaders including central member Shrestha.

The Congress had convened a meeting of the Central Committee on Wednesday to discuss the recent political situation and preparations for the upcoming 14th General Convention.

Before the meeting, the Congress had made RT-PCR test of leaders mandatory.
