Landslide blocks Kaligandaki Highway

            Galkot (Baglung), Sept 17: A massive landslide triggered by continuous rainfall has blocked the Baglung section of the Kaligandaki Corridor, a project of national pride, since this morning.

            The landslide occurred at Belbagar in Jaimini municipality-8, completely halting traffic along the route. Due to the scale of the landslide, restoring the roadway is has been challenging, said District Police Office, Baglung’s chief information officer Keshab Thapa.
