CPN (Maoist Centre) directs party rank and file to engage in serving disaster-hit people

            Kathmandu, Oct 4: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has urged party leaders and activists to actively engage in the rescue and relief of disaster-affected people, taking precaution.

            Spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota issued a statement today urging people to engage in serving the public in the adverse situation created by the disaster.

            He has also urged all three levels of government to be actively involved in the rescue and relief efforts for disaster-affected citizens.

            Similarly, citizens in areas with potential disaster risks have been requested to stay in safe locations and be cautious and avoid travelling for non-essential work, as human casualties can occur due to floods, landslides, inundation, and other causes.
