Kathmandu, Nov 2: Senior leader of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Jhalanath Khanal, has said it is urgent to restructure the leftist political parties to resolve the political crises.
At a meeting held on Saturday, senior leader Khanal who is also the former Prime Minister, stressed on strengthening the party organization.
The senior leaders require stepping down for leadership handover that encourages youths in national politics, according to him. Internal dispute in the party can be settled by making clear the ideology in the party, he said, expressing worrying over recurring split of the communist parties owing to tussle in leadership handover.
General Secretary Ghanashyam Bhusal also said it is time for leftist unity by ending aberration and anomalies in the party.
A significant faction of the CPN (Unified Socialist) led by party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has, however, decided to get unified with the CPN (Maoist Centre). —-
