Nepal loses to Laos in AFC Asian Cup qualifiers

Kathmandu, March 31: Nepal lost to Laos in the final match of Group ‘F’ under the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers football tournament.

Laos defeated Nepal by 1-0 in the match held at the National Stadium in Laos today. Laos captain Bounnhachan Bonkong scored the only goal of the match in the 48th minute.

Nepal had already been eliminated from the Asian Cup qualifiers. Nepal collected only three points from six matches in the qualifiers. —
