Thapa designated acting UML chair

Kathmandu, April 2: Vice Chair Ram Bahadur Thapa has been assigned with the responsibility of acting chair of the CPN (UML).

Party Chair KP Sharma Oli has given Thapa the responsibility of acting chair, according to central member and MP Ain Mahar.

This was shared at the meeting of the parliamentary party held at the UML central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur today. It was shared in the meeting that Chair Oli had given Thapa the responsibility of acting chair until he is released from custody.

Oli was arrested last Saturday in connection with the implementation of the recommendations of the commission formed to investigate the GenZ movement. —
