Road to Tarakhola completed in Myagdi

Nepal, Myagdi, April 24: The Mahesh-Dhapung-Tarakhola road section in Myagdi district was completed, the District Infrastructure Development Office said.

The road, which was opened some 16 years ago, had remained in a dilapidated state due to a lack of maintenance. The 3-kms long road from Pakhare in Mangala Rural Municipality-3 to Aldanda was upgraded by gravelling and concrete casting.

Chief of the Office, Mahendra Baniya, told the RSS that the total cost of the project was Rs 58.6 million. The seven metres wide road is supported by a drainage facility and dams. —
