ICC World Cup League: USA all out for 195

Kathmandu, May 16: Nepal has restricted the United States of America to 195 runs in 50 overs in match being held under the ICC World Cup League-2.

Batting first after winning the toss at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kritipur, USA were all out for 195 runs in 43.3 overs. Opener Smith Patel and Shehan Jayasuriya scored half-centuries, including 83 and 50 runs respectively.

Milind Kumar contributed 28 runs while Harmit Singh added 14 runs to his team’s par total. For the bowling side, Dipendra Singh Airee took four wickets and Sompal Kami took two wickets.

Sandeep Lamichhane and Gulshan Jha also took one wicket each to restrict the opposition in their home ground. Nepal will have to score 196 runs in 50 overs to win the match and improve its ranking in the WCL points table.
