Two apprehended with pistol and bullets in Dhanusha

Janakpurdham, June 27: Two people were arrested with pistols and bullets from a Thapa Chowk-based hotel in Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City-9, Dhanusha.

The arrestees have been identified as Aman Yadav, 20, from Musahaniya Rural Municipality-4 and Sudhir Mukhiya, 18, of Hanspur Municipality-6 in the district.

Acting on confidential information, a police team from the District Police Office, Dhanusha, was deployed to arrest the two who had been in the hotel on Saturday afternoon, said Police Inspector Manoj Yadav.

The police confiscated a pistol, its magazine, one 9 mm KF bullet and three 7.65 mm KF bullets from them. Further investigation into the case is underway. —
