Kathmandu, July 11: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has sought complaints against three persons proposed for chief election commissioner and election commissioners.
Issuing a public notice on Friday, the Committee called for registering complaints at the Committee within 10 days.
One can file complaints in Nepali or English language against Man Bahadur Karki, proposed to the post of chief election commissioner, and Dr Rajeev Subbba (Kathmandu) and Guru Prasad Wagle (Okhaldhunga), recommended for election commissioners, by Constitutional Council. A meeting of Constitutional Council held on July 3 under chairmanship of Prime Minister Balendra Shah had decided to recommend them for the appointment.
The Committee had published this notice on July 10 for the first time. —
