NC not to host tea party this year

Lalitpur, Oct 18: The Nepali Congress is not hosting tea reception on Kojagrat Purnamina this year.

Issuing a press release today, Acting Chief Secretary of the NC, Krishna Prasad Dulal, shared that the party decided not to host the tea reception this year reasoning that the country was mourning on the eve of festival.

The NC has been organizing the tea party every year since 2034 BS except special circumstances. —
