One died, another injured in two-wheeler accident

            Godavari (Kailali), Oct 1: One person died and another was injured when a scooter met with an accident last night at Rajpur of Dhangadhi sub-metropolis-13 in Kailali.

            The scooter crashed into a road divider after going uncontrolled all of a sudden, resulting in the death of rider Pranjal Bam, 24, of Purchaudi municipality-8 in Baitadi, said Sudurpaschim Province Traffic Office’s Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tek Bahadur Jora. Bam was rushed to the Maya Metro Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

            Injured Saroj Bam, 26, who was pillion-riding the scooter ( Su Pa Pra 011011 PA 4473), is being treated at the same hospital.

Man held for misbehaving with police employee on duty

         A youth has been taken under control by the police on the charge of misbehaving with a police employee on duty.

            As confirmed by the District Police Range Kathmandu, the arrestee is Newang Tamang, 36, from Ghyanglekh rural municipality-5, Sindhuli. He is charged of verbally abusing the police employee and displaying inappropriate behavior toward him.

            Tamang was apprehended from Buddhanagar of Kathmandu metropolis-1o. A video of the incident had been circulated publicly. —
