Three die in Palpa bus accident

Tansen, Oct 29: Three persons died in a bus accident occurred at Pipal Bhanjyang of Rainadevi rural municipality-4 in Palpa district on Wednesday.

The bus (Lumbini Province 01-001 Ja 0091) en route to Mehaldhap from Amalabas in Palpa district met accident that claimed the lives of three persons including the driver.

Those losing lives were driver Kamal Rayamajhi, 34, from Amalabas; Ram Bahadur Gaha, 41, from Chhahara-4; and Mukta Bahadur Budhathoki,37, from Chhahara-1, according to Kamal Pradhan, Information Officer at District Police Office, Palpa.

Injured seriously in the incident, they were taken to District Hospital, Palpa. However, the doctor declared them dead.

There were only three persons in the bus. The bus fell down to a gorge.

Investigation into the incident is underway, the police added.
