Dr Narayan Kandel appointed Attorney General

Kathmandu, April 5: President Ramchandra Paudel today appointed Dr Narayan Dutta Kandel as the Attorney General.

According to the Office of the President, Dr Kandel of Baglung district was appointed to the post of the Attorney General at the recommendation of Prime Minister Balendra Shah in accordance with Article 157 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.

Meanwhile, Acting Chief Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla on Sunday administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Attorney General Dr Kandel at the Supreme Court.
