Speaker Aryal, presidents of parliamentary committees hold meeting

Kathmandu, May 4: Speaker of House of Representatives (HoR) Dol Prasad Aryal held a meeting with presidents of different committees under the House of Representatives, the National Assembly and the Joint Committee.

The meeting held on Monday was focused on the issues of making parliamentary business furhter effective, according to Speaker Aryal’s Secretariat. During the meeting, committees’ presidents raised issues of the parliament’s upcoming session. In response, Speaker Aryal shared that the decision in this regard would be taken only on Tuesday (tomorrow).

NA Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal, Deputy Speaker of HoR Rubi Kumari Thakur, NA Vice-Chairperson Lila Kumari Bhandari, General Secretary and Secretaries of the Federal Parliament, committees’ secretaries were present on the occasion. —
