Prime Minister Oli directs for sending people back home

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed ministers and members of the High-Level Coordination Committee for the Prevention and Control of Covid-19 to coordinate with the state and local governments to send home to the aspirants during the time of lockdown.

At a meeting of the Committee held in the Prime Minister’s official residence on Friday evening, the PM instructed for further strict measures in the border points, and manage the people stranded on the roads and expecting to go home by coordinating with the state and local governments, Foreign Affairs Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali told after the meeting.

The PM directed the committee to ensure more strict provisions to control the mobility of people except for the emergencies and ensure further tight provisions to close the border points,” said Gyawali.

During the meeting, the PM discussed the government measures regarding the control and treatment of the COVID-19 pandemic while directing to effectively implement those measures.
