Death toll in Palpa landslides reaches four

Palpa: The death toll in the landslide that took place at Sammobari has reached four. The body of the fourth victim was found in course of a search in the incident site today.

The deceased has been identified as Kumar Tamang,18, of Buddhachowk, in Shiva Satakchi municipality, Jhapa, according to Sub-inspector at the District Police Office Madan Giri.

In the incident that took place on Monday, two were found dead in the spot while one person died during treatment at hospital the same night.
