KATHMANDU, Nov 24: The country witnessed a total of 1,790 new cases of coronavirus infection among the 10,843 RT-PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Of the infected ones, 1,069 are males.
With this, the coronavirus infection tally reached 224,078 till Tuesday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 204,058 infected ones returned home after complete recovery from the coronavirus infection.
Likewise, a total of 2,791 people got victory over the virus in the past 24 hours across the country.
The Ministry said that the number of reported active cases is 17,759.
Likewise, Kathmandu valley saw 947 new cases of the virus in the past 24 hours. Of them, 692 are from Kathmandu, 190 from Lalitpur and 65 from Bhaktapur district.
As shared by the Ministry, a total of 331 people succumbed to the virus in Kathmandu, 91 in Lalitpur and 87 in Bhaktapur district.
Similarly, 24 people died of the virus in the past 24 hours across the country. With this, the total COVID-19 related deaths reached 1,361 in Nepal.
