Case filed against three for evading Rs 153.6 million in revenue

KATHMANDU: The Revenue Investigation Department on Sunday filed a case in Patan High Court against three individuals including proprietor of Gopal Flour Mill Suresh Kumar Rathi of Biratnagar Metropolitan City-9 for committing financial crime.

The Department has stated that the three have evaded revenue worth Rs 153.6 million.

As per the Department’s investigation, they were found revealing less sales than the income to evade value added tax, gain tax and income tax.

The other alleged in the case are Suman Rathi and Girdharilal Agrawal of Biratnagar Metropolitan City-9.
