Child dies of hornet sting in Rolpa

LIBANG, ROLPA: A child has died in Rolpa today after being bitten by hornets.

The deceased has been identified as Praveen Punmagar, 11, son of Kushal Punmagar and Rejina Punmagar of Rolpa Municipality-8. Praveen was bitten by the wild bees at around 5:30 pm on his way home after herding goats some distance from his home.

After first-aid at the local health post in Jhangkot, he was rushed towards the Rolpa Hospital, Reugha but died on the way.
