Shripati National Award to be presented to Manav Sewa Ashram

Pokhara, July 11: The Shripati Social Service National Award is set to be presented to Manav Sewa Ashram this year. This prestigious award, established by the Shripati Koirala Guthi in Pokhara, comes with a prize of 222,222.

The announcement was made during a special programme in Pokhara, coinciding with the 219th birthday of Shripati. Guthi President Phanindraraj Koirala shared that the selection committee recommended Manav Sewa Ashram for its outstanding contribution to humanitarian efforts across the nation.

For the past 13 years, Manav Sewa Ashram has been dedicated to helping those who find themselves living in dire conditions, often in public spaces.

The Ashram focuses on rescuing, treating, nurturing, and reuniting families with the destitute, helpless, people with disabilities, and those who are physically or mentally vulnerable.

With its central office located in Makanpur, the Ashram currently supports around 2,200 individuals through 34 service centers spread across 23 districts in the country. —
