Dillydallying in development works not acceptable: Chief Minister Pandey

Damauli, July 13: Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Surendra Raj Pandey has underscored on timely completion of development works. Inaugurating the bridge constructed over the Chundi River here today, he said that delays in development projects are not acceptable.

The bridge connects Bhanu Municipality-1 and Bandipur Rural Municipality-4 in the district. He stated that the bridge, constructed through the Infrastructure Development Office, Tanahun under the provincial government, was completed about seven months ahead of the scheduled time, sending a positive message in the field of development and construction.

“This bridge has become an excellent example that a quality development project can be completed on time. If there is coordination and commitment from all sides during project planning, it is possible to finish the work ahead of the scheduled time,” Chief Minister Pandey said.

Mayor of Bhanu Municipality, Ananda Raj Tripathi, said that the construction of the bridge will make commuting easier for the locals. —
