Kathmandu, June 2: A hot weather is predicted in Tarai belt of the country today. Other places will have generally cloudy weather.
The weather service informed it will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous regions and partly cloudy in Tarai. One to two places in the southern plains of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces are predicted to have moderate rainfall coupled with thunder and lightning.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, Tarai region will have a clear sky, while partly cloudy in hilly area and generally cloudy in mountainous areas in coming night. Light rainfall is also expected in some provinces.
