Kathmandu, Oct 9: President Ramchandra Paudel on Friday issued an ordinance relating to the amendment of Some of Nepal Acts on Disaster- 2083 BS.
Upon the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, the Head of State issued the ordinance in accordance with Article 114 (1) of the Nepal’s Constitution. It was shared in statement signed by spokesperson at the Office of the President, Krishna Bahadur Shahi. —
The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) has unveiled details on the work progress of the past one week. The progress details were unveiled amidst a regular press meet here Friday.
According to OPMCM spokesperson and joint-secretary Hemraj Aryal, a draft of the ‘National Express Investment System (Operation and Management) Procedure, 2083’ was being formulated.
The procedure aims to provide official information, procedures, necessary approvals, documentation, fee structures, timelines and details of responsible agencies regarding investment from a one-stop service centre.
Similarly, decisions taken by the committee which was formed to facilitate the implementation of the agreement reached between the federal government and representatives of the Gen-Z movement on December 10, 2025 have been dispatched to the relevant ministries for the implementation.
The list of details includes the government’s efforts to digitalise investment services, improve coordination among federal, province, and local governments, modernise public-sector IT infrastructures, strengthen administrative efficiency, promote sanitation and advance anti-corruption measures. —
